WHAT IS STATEMENT?

My Story

How does a west coast kid end up living in Nashville?

The short answer? I have absolutely no clue.

And no, I don't have a secret music career.

I've always had a habit of betting on myself and jumping into things that are out of my comfort zone.

Six years ago, I packed up my car, drove to Austin, and accepted a job I knew nothing about. I knew nobody. I had no clue what I was doing. I just wanted to leave my hometown and see what I was capable of.

That's pretty much been the theme of my life ever since.

When you move to a new city knowing nobody, you become obsessed with saying yes. Happy Hours. Pools. Lakes. Stadiums. Venues. Concerts. Boats. You get the gist.

I became obsessed with meeting people, building great friendships, and experiencemaxxing.

At the same time, I became increasingly focused on my health, sleep, nutrition, and becoming the best version of myself. I stopped drinking, cut back on excess caffeine, ate a healthier diet, and became intentional about how I showed up each day.

I became obsessed with growth, productivity, and pushing myself.

That mindset helped me become a top performer in my sales career. Then one day, I was unexpectedly let go.

Sometimes, life shows you it has bigger plans.

I went to Scottsdale. Miami. And started asking myself a simple question: What's next?

Then, on a flight home from Miami, I had an epiphany.

The more intentional I became about my lifestyle, the harder it felt to find options that fit the social experiences I loved.

Why does going out always seem to come with trade-offs?

In that moment, Statement was born.

WHY STATEMENT EXISTS

The social occasions never stopped (thankfully).

Dinner parties. Rooftops. Sporting events. Weddings. Birthdays. Networking events. Random plans that start with "just one drink" and somehow become an entire evening.

The problem was that the more intentional I became about my lifestyle, the fewer beverage options seemed to fit it.

Alcohol came with unproductive mornings.

Energy drinks were great until you found yourself staring at the ceiling at 1 AM wondering why you weren't asleep.

Sugary sodas and mocktails didn't exactly align with my health goals.

And somehow I kept ending up with the same answer:

A club soda in a plastic cup.

Every. Single. Time.

Yet there I was, holding the same plastic cup at every concert, rooftop, wedding, happy hour, and sporting event pretending I was “participating”.

Ok, maybe I’d switch it up for a super fun, exciting, good time “water” ;)

I kept hearing the same thing from friends:

"I want to go. I just don't want to drink tonight."

That stuck with me.

Not because people didn't want to have fun.

Because they were tired of the trade-offs. The poor sleep. The rough mornings.

The feeling of spending more time recovering than actually living.

I knew there had to be a better option.

Something that fit the occasion and the lifestyle.

Something you can enjoy more than one of and still feel great the next day.

I looked everywhere for it. I couldn't find it.

So I created Statement.

Because social connection shouldn't have to come with trade-offs.
